Use acrylic paint pens, washi tape, and other embellishments to decorate your own wooden Easter eggs and enjoy year after year! For ages 5 and up - limited to 15 participants - RSVP HERE

All levels welcome! Whether you are a beginner, seasoned player, or just want to learn how to play chess, head over to the library for an hour of chess every other Thursday in our Quiet Room. For children, teens, and adults. RSVP for CHESS CLUB HERE:

Weekly story times will take place on Tuesday mornings, followed by weekly pre-K crafts on Wednesday mornings, both at 10:30 am in our Community Room. Reservations will be required for Wednesday crafts but not for Tuesday story times.

Children and their caregivers can enjoy stories on Tuesday mornings in our spacious community room. Themes vary every week. Registration is not required for our regular story time. Upcoming themes:

CRAFTY WEDNESDAYS: TODDLER/PRE-K CRAFTS - Wednesdays at 10:30 am

Enjoy a different age-appropriate craft every Wednesday in our spacious community room following the theme of the previous day's story time! PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED to ensure that there are enough craft materials for each child:

MUSICAL STORY TIME WITH SPECIAL GUEST MISS BEE - Tuesday, April 9, at 10:30 am

Get set to welcome spring with dancing, singing, parachute play, instruments, and more when Ms. Bee of Explorers Playgroup visits the library for a special musical story time! No RSVP needed.

DOG MAN DAY - Thursday, April 18, at 4 pm

Calling all Dog Man fans! Celebrate the release of The Scarlet Shredder, the latest addition to Dav Pilkey's popular Dog Man series with our Second Annual Dog Day featuring a fun trivia contest and other activities, prizes, a Dog Man photo op, and more! SPRING NATURE DISCOVERY - Wednesday, April 24, at 4 pm

The Essex County Environmental Center will visit the library and lead children ages 5 and up on a spring nature walk on the library grounds - there will be lots to see! Event will include an exhibit where guests can examine fur, feathers, tracks, and other examples of native New Jersey nature before wandering outside to look for the signs, sounds, and colors of spring. Program will conclude with a nature craft. For ages pre-K through first grade, pre-registration required. RSVP HERE
