Lego Mindstorms Robotics
Kids ages 10 and up, are you ready to take on a Lego Mindstorms Robotics challenge? Join us on the next two Tuesdays, August 22, and 29, at 4 pm for the ultimate building adventure! Call to RSVP.
Author Visit: Jennifer Bronsnick
Jennifer Bronsnick, MSW and LCSW at Mindful Family in Summit, and author of Mindful Mommy and Thriving Mama Playbook, will visit the library on Friday, Sept. 8, at 6 pm to discuss her books and work, which focus on self-care and mindfulness for moms.
Rainbow Fresh in Concert
Treat yourself to some Sunday afternoon rock with Rainbow Fresh on Sunday, Sept. 10, at 2 pm.
YA Video Game Tournament
Students in middle and high school can test their Mario Kart 8 skills in a fun and friendly tournament on Friday, August 18, at 4 pm.
Wanted: Graphic Novels & Comic Books
We are currently accepting donations of comic books and graphic novels for patients at the Essex County Hospital Center, a psychiatric facility in Cedar Grove. Please bring your donations to the circulation desk during our regular hours.
Matinee Mondays
Join us every Monday at 1 pm for a different movie and popcorn! Next film: The Zookeeper's Wife on August 21. Movie is rated PG-13 and runs for 2 hours and 7 minutes. No RSVP needed.
Author Visit: Linda Rawlins
Author Linda Rawlins from Fairfield joins us on Wednesday, August 23, at 7 pm for a presentation on her latest beach-themed mystery series that centers around Misty Manor, a seaside estate. Check out Linda's website at www.lindarawlins.org.
Adult Meditation Classes
Join us on these Thursdays of Mindfulness: August 24 at 7 pm and September 7 at 10 am. Call to RSVP.
Friends of the Library Fundraiser
Eat some pizza and help raise money for our library! On Monday, August 28, between 4 and 8 pm, mention the Friends of the Roseland Library when you eat in or order takeout from Frank's Pizza, 14 Eisenhower Parkway in Roseland, and a portion of your tab will go toward the Roseland Free Public Library. We appreciate your support.
Roseland Library Book Club
Our Book Club has announced its August selection: Dinner with Edward by Isabel Vincent. If you enjoy stories that combine great food, deep soul searching, and unlikely friendships, then this book will be a winner! The group will meet on Wednesday, August 23, at 7:15 pm for a discussion
Summer T'ai Chi Chih
Join accredited instructor Lee Bergman any or every Tuesday through August 29. $10 per session. New students: 10:15 am; returning students: 10:30 am. Adult Yoga Every Wednesday
We offer Adult Yoga classes on a WEEKLY basis, every Wednesday at 10:30 am with certified instructors Taryn and Kristin, who will alternate instruction. Call to RSVP.

Patrons can borrow passes for themselves and/or their families for The Newark Museum, Montclair Museum, Morris Museum, and (coming soon) the NY Transit Museum and Imagine That!
