The board of the Friends of the Roseland Free Public Library meets on the second Monday of the month, and the public is welcome to attend these meetings, as well as anyone interested in joining the Friends.

PAMPERED CHEF FUNDRAISER - Friday, April 12, 6-9 pm

You are cordially invited to a Pampered Chef Party to help raise funds for The Friends of the Roseland Free Public Library! Join us on Friday, April 12, from 6 to 9 pm as we explore a variety of pans, griddles, steamers, and other Pampered Chef kitchen essentials. Guests will have the opportunity to sample different tasty recipes that were created with these products. There is no charge for attending the party, and participants can spend any amount they wish. Those who spend $75 or more can choose either a Pampered Chef "Egg Slicer Plus" or a "Measure, Mix & Pour" as a gift. A portion of your purchases (15%) will be donated to the library. Can't make it on the 12th? "BIG TRAINS" AT THE LIBRARY - Wednesday-Saturday, April 24-27


If you loved Bill "Mr. Conductor" Cinque's Holiday Train Exhibit, then you won't want to miss his "Big Train" springtime exhibit in our community room!  This exhibit, hosted by the Friends of the Roseland Free Public Library, features larger standard gauge model pre-World War II trains made of metal manufactured by Lionel, American Flyer, and other companies. Display will also include some later reproductions made by MTH Electric Trains under the Lionel name. Look for passenger and freight sets, an assortment of metal buildings, and a bridge in this elevated train track system!   Exhibit hours : Wednesday, April 24, 4-6 pm; Thursday, April 25, 7-9 pm; Friday, April 26, 3-5 pm; Saturday, April 27, 10 am-noon and 1-3 pm. 
No RSVP needed.

SAVE THE DATE: ANNUAL SUMMER BOOK SALE
Wednesday, June 19, to Friday, June 21
It's that time again! Our Annual Summer Book Sale is set for 9 am-9 pm on Wednesday & Thursday, June 19 & 20, and 9 am-5 pm on Friday, June 21. Children's books and DVDs, 50 cents; paperbacks and hardcovers, 50 cents to $2; fill-a-bag, $8. There will be door prizes, too!  Donations will be accepted starting now. Please bring your donations INSIDE the library during our regular hours. Donations left outside will get too damaged to sell. Stay tuned for more details!
