A collection of photographs by Lucy Chua will be on display in the library community room  through Saturday, June 22. Meet the artist during a reception on Saturday, May 11, from 1 to 2:30 pm. 

Lucy, who designs and creates user-friendly IT solutions for a living, is also passionate about capturing "unique and memorable moments" through photography. 

"At various points in one's life journey, we may think to ourselves, 'Oh! I wish I can stay in this moment forever!' Or, we've been advised to 'slow down and smell the roses.'  My images are simple yet uniquely beautiful subjects that speak to the heart and mind.  My goal is to inspire joy, encouragement, and hope," she says.

Our Monday Matinee series continues with Maid in Manhattan, a 2002 romantic comedy about a hotel maid who gets mistaken for a socialite when she tries on a wealthy guest's dress. No RSVP needed; guests may bring their own snacks.

LONG-TERM CARE: KNOW YOUR OPTIONS - Wednesday, May 22, at 6:30 pm

Financial advisor Fred Ciccone will present an informative session on long term health care (LTC) planning, services, and costs. The program is suitable for all ages - the earlier a person addresses LTC, the more options they have. LTC involves a variety of services designed to meet individual health/personal care needs when one can no longer independently perform daily living activities. Studies have shown that most adults do not feel prepared to handle the costs of LTC and have not taken steps toward planning for special needs that may arise in the future. RSVP HERE
