SUMMER READERS, TAKE NOTE: You still have a few more weeks to log in more reading and earn more tickets toward our End of Summer Reading Party prize drawings. The more reading you record, the more tickets you earn toward our end of summer reading prize drawings - good luck! No late tickets will be accepted.

OUTDOOR END OF SUMMER READING PARTY MAGIC SHOW FEATURING STEVE WOYCE - Friday, August 27, 6:30-8 pm

Roseland Summer Reading participants, celebrate the end of our Summer Reading program with an outdoor party featuring a winning combination - magician Steve Woyce and ice cream! Summer Reading prizes will be available for pickup after the party. Even if you end up not taking one of the prizes home, treat yourself to ice cream and a magical performance and take pride in being a summer reader! In the event of rain, event will be moved inside our Community Room and masks must be worn by all guests. RSVP on library website.


 

ESSEX COUNTY PUBLIC CHILDREN'S LIBRARIANS PRESENT A BABY CRAWL! 

  

Seven weeks, seven libraries! Tune in each week and treat your baby to an enriching, age-appropriate story time hosted by a different Essex County library. Each week's video will go live that Monday, starting at 10 am, through that Sunday, until 11:29 pm. Sign up for each individual week on our website to receive the YouTube links for each story time. DECORATE YOUR OWN FOLDER - Friday, September 10, at 4:30 pm

Go back to school in style with a unique folder decorated by YOU! Round up some friends and join us between 4:30 and 5:30 pm in our Children's Area for this fun activity that is sure to add some color to your days. For Roseland students in grades K-5. Supplies are limited, so please reserve your spot. PLEASE NOTE: We ask that participants who are not vaccinated please wear a mask.



STORIES & SONGS - Tuesdays 10:30-11 am Starting September 14

Join us for a cheerful half hour of stories and songs! For babies/children ages 0 to 4 and their caregivers. Please note that Stories & Songs is LIMITED TO 15 CHILDREN, and that RSVP is required for EACH CHILD, even if they are from the same household. Since this is an indoors children's event, masks must be worn by ALL children and caregivers, regardless of vaccination status.

S.T.E.A.M. STORY TIME - Thursdays 10:30-11 am Starting September 16

Feed your child's brain with engaging stories followed by a related, age-appropriate S.T.E.A.M. (science, technology, engineering, art, or math) project. For children ages 2 to 6 and their caregivers. Please note that S.T.E.A.M. Story Time is LIMITED TO 15 CHILDREN, and that RSVP is required for EACH CHILD, even if they are from the same household. Since this is an indoors children's event, masks must be worn by ALL children and caregivers, regardless of vaccination status.
